One the first color-coding question, there are the following two color codes in the search window:
1) Green coding for the speed indicates that it is a speed that we have measured on that host by tracking its bandwidth. If the speed is not green, it means it's just the speed setting that the user specified. Basically, the green just means it's a more accurate estimate of speed.
2) The red encoding for ip addresses indicates that the host returning that search result is firewalled, and that it is therefore somewhat less likely that you will be able to download from them. This entire column, however, will likely be removed in future releases. Three stars in the "Quality" column also indicates that the host is probably firewalled. I would not consider this too seriously, however, as firewalled hosts often give excellent download speeds. |
