Sorry for being persistant. But are you sure you tried both steps 2 & 3 in the fixes link about deleting your LW prefs folder? In step 3 you must turn options to show "hidden" files & folders otherwise you won't find the LW prefs folder.

Which was your previous version of LimeWire?

Download the "Offline" version of LW & install that.
