You know Romermic

Your files being corrupted at work is not as weird as you think, all you have to do is ask your IT Admin/Security person have they upgraded/updated or installed new anti-virus apps on their DMZ servers (incoming internet servers).

If your office admin people have ramped up their AV app then this is the culprit behind your corrupted downloads. You see, office AV apps have a tendency to hash (pull apart and reassemble) all incoming files, searching for viruses, Trojans, malware and stuff that are anti-office policy.

So, it looks like your downloads are being reassembled minus certain (anti-office policy) bits.

Hope this helps.
