Possibly. Actually I didn't realise you port forwarded. The most important step is the 1st step & that's often where people make mistakes; ie: setting up a static ip. Without a static ip set up "before" the port forwarding, then the entire process was a waste of time. I've heard it's also better to do a separate port forward for each of TCP & UDP, as compared to doing one for both in a single port forward. Two options to get passed the linksys nat firewall is to either enable UPnP or port forward. (port forwarding instructions here
http://portforward.com/routers.htm ) Else see the connection problems link above under UPnP section about how to enable UPnP. I don't know how good your model is re: UPnP
But before you do this, try this ... make a note of any important settings in your options & then delete your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is
closed; instructions here:
Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.) Next time you open LW you will need to reset all your option settings such as days to keep incomplete files to a large number. Also under advanced>firewall settings set it to manual port forward or UPnP whichever you set your linksys for.
See how the connection goes, & then try downlding a magnet link from here
