Open Task Manager (ctrl-alt-del) & check if any LW process is running. If it is, end the process.

Delete LW's preferences folder (points 2 & 3 below - if you've only used very recent versions, point 3 should be enough...if you've used older versions, check both locations).
Fixes for LimeWire

Reboot your computer.

Now try reinstalling LW again.
