I just downloaded a movie, about 700mb, but after waiting for 2 hours, all I got was the sound of the movie, and it couldn't display anything?

Is it damaged, because the sounds couldn't be 700mb, it would atleast be the movie with motion pictures to be at least that big.
Is there anyway i can fix this? because it happend to all the avi's i download.
