Alot of people that are firewalled cant even get a connection to the network and some can and they still download without a problem...The ones that can still connect will not be sharing their files though as nobody would be able to connect to them or browse them...So you have actually done the network a big favour by forwarding a port...
No nasties will enter your computer either the port you have opened is only for limewire...
