...but shouldn't there be a focus on getting the existing app to work correctly first?

Over the last two days I have done the following testing:

Limiting myself to hosts that show up in searches with 4 stars and a connection speed of Cable, T1 or T3 I have tried 232 downloads. Out of the 232 I attempted only 2 started at all. All others showed the "Could Not Download" message.

These tests were done from three different connections. A T1 with no firewall, a dial-up ISP with no user firewall and a cable connection with no user firewall. The attempts were split almost evenly between versions 2.1.3 and 1.7c. Both machines were Macs running system 9.2.1.

Sorry if this is wrong forum in which to post these results, but there don't seem to be any developers or any Limewire people hanging out in the "Download Problems" and "General Mac Support" forums.

Any direction would be appreciated.
