AFAIK the Actiontec DSL Gateway has a firewall.

There are a few different Gateways...can you find a model number? If it supports UPnP, enable it within the device & choose the UPnP option within LW's tools > options > advanced > firewall config. Apply > ok.
Otherwise you could try port forwarding, that should get rid of the firewall icon. Find your model here & then choose LW from the list of programs. That will give you step by step instructions for port forwarding.

If setting up a static IP is part of the instructions, don't miss that step or port forwarding won't work. Remember...LW's listening port & the port forwarded must be the same number
