I'm new to this whole thing, and I have 1 big problem... Please, if anyone could help me, I'd really appreciate it. I just started using Limewire today, and everything was fine--I was uploading songs and they appeared on my Itunes as well as my Limewire library, but I left this evening with Limewire open to upload files and when I returned I noticed my Shared playlist in my Itunes AND my shared folder where they are supposed to be saved on my computer were empty,and all the songs in my Limewire library were highlighted in RED. The songs still play fine, but I don't know why they are colored and why they are not in my Itunes anymore!! Can someone please help me with this. I hope this is a simple question with a simple answer and can be resolved easily. I'd appreciate anyone who can help me.

Also: I want to reinstall Limewire onto my computer. Does anyone know if I uninstall the program and then reinstall it, if I will lose all my files, or if it will recognize the computer I am on and automatically restore all my files? Is there a reinstall or fix-it download I can use instead of entirely uninstalling Limewire? Should I perhaps just re-download Limewire, and see if that will just override the previous version I have now? Thank you. |
