Advantages to going Pro? I just wanted to ask the room whether they thought I should shell out for Pro. I've been reading this forum for two hours and I can't seem to find an answer to my question. Would going Pro be a good solution? I've posted my question below - if anyone can point me to an answer, or tell me if the people at Limewire will help me on this particular problem if I go Pro, it would be appreciated. [If other people want to talk about other merits or demerits to going Pro here too that'd be of interest to me as well...]
[My problem is trying to download a TV show (which is distributed freely online by the network, but only if you have such-and-such processor/platform, so is it ok for me to say that?), where I'm quite sure that I'm getting lots of legitimate hits for it, even if when I look up the hits I do get on Bitzi there are no comments on it - but despite all these legitimate hits, when I try to download the show it spends a long time trying to connect and then gives up. If I do a general search with the show name, it will pop up loads of results, but when I try to download one of them that almost never works - it's only if I'm very specific (s01e18, e.g.) that I get a very small number of hits (and even then only rarely), and those actually will download to me. Any tips would be immensely appreciated - I'd offer compensation ($5? $10?) if the person providing the tip had a convenient way to go about it.] |
