So we have to go unprotected in order to become an Ultrapeer, eh? Sorry, but although I may meet any other qualifications, it turns out that "two out of three is bad"! I waited almost ten minutes today for a "Turbo-Charged Connection" with my LimeWire/4.12.11 (Pro) DSL system as a leaf. Now I disconnect from LimeWire Internet after a session as a leaf ... never did back when I was connected as an Ultrapeer. (Only power outages caused a disconnect then, and when I came back on there were plenty of Ultrapeers, so I came back as a leaf. Then malware caused me to erect the firewall. )

Edit: I was looking for a means to 'bookmark' this thread, but didn't find one. Apparently, when someone posts in a thread in this Forum, the bookmark is set automatically ... nicht var? (That's a nice feature!)
