The Beta version is there for users to test and if they find bugs and problems they let the developers know about it in the Beta forums...
If you don't feel comfortable with using the Beta go back to using the latest version which is 4.12.11, you automatically get the latest version when you go to
www.limewire.com
Also if you look at the top right hand corner it tells you what version is the latest...
