That happens when one (or more) of the Ultrapeers in your Connections tab is sending spam results.

You can disconnect/reconnect and see if the new ultrapeers are any better, and you can also mark the bad results as "junk" by using the trash icon under the search results.

Quite irritating, but eventually your good sense and the junk filter can reduce the spam.
