after reading and searching this forum I read that turning the extensions off
solves the problem of installation.... and it did! I was able to install with the
extensions off.

but, it will not run.

if I restart w/extensions off LW will run, but then you can't connect to the internet.... so it is of no use.

btw: this is LW 2.2.1

still in need of advice.....
