I'm behind a firewall using Mactella v 1.0.1. I can connect to the Gnutella network and search, But when I select a file to download, it won't download. I have arrows spinning with "connected" showing, and I can also see a large list of hosts, but nothing else happens.
Why can't I download?? Does Gnutella/Mactella need any special internet protocol? Or can it use http. I think we have an http port open on our LAN that I could try instead of the default (6346). Is that port for a special protocol? Any help is appreciated. |
