hi birdy,
thank you so much for the prompt reply and the tips. i really appreciate it.
this problem doesn't happened to a lot of files. So far, there's only 2, thank god!
I placed the cursor on the file and the info told me that more than 500MB of the file is corrupted. This is very strange that such a HUGE file corruption happened in the middle of the download. I noticed it was 51% before I went to get a drink. When I came back, I was shocked
that the download dropped to 12%. I had spent more than 1 month downloading this file because I am only getting 1 - 5Kbps and this is really really frustrating ...
I am using LimeWire 4.12.3 Pro and java 1.5.0_06. I'm having broadband connection at home, 2MB download and 1MB upload, Windows XP SP2, 1GB RAM, 60GB free disc space.
I believe there is a bug in this version of LimeWire Pro that I'm using. Is there any more stable and trustworthy version out there? Can anyone kindly recommend me a better version?
Thank you so much guys!!!
Kind regards,
Jason
