Are you running low on hdd space?.....Try deleting LW's preferences folder with LW completely shut down. See point 3 here:
Fixes for Limewire when LW isn't operating as it should!.
Deleting that folder will change all your option settings back to the default. You might want to amke a note of them, so you can set them back.
