For "some" people, Java 1.6 isn't doing it's job properly. So that's why the jump back to java 1.5 is good for those some people. I have heard some releases of java 1.5 didn't work well for some people too. Same applied with some earlier versions of Java. (Same seems to happen with some versions of LW not working well for some people.) Just how things go.
