Furi has a nice feature which i havenīt seen in any other gnutella software yet:
You can add "candidates" to your download files. These are file of exactly the same filesize which are hosted on other servers. So if a download breaks or is impossible, Furi switches to the next host in the candidates-list and continues downloading from there. You can even search for those candidates. This speeds up the downloading process a lot as you donīt have to wait until a certain host gives you the permission to start a download. It works very well, I never had problems with files whiche werenīt the same and had the same filesize.
And as it is a pure java software it will almost surely run on your system as well as on any other, whatever you got.
I think this makes Furi the most advanced gnutella soft. There are other interesting features as well, but mentioning them all would lead to far here. |
