The trashcan icon means that your junk filter has recognised that file as junk.

Sometimes the junk filter will mark files as junk when they're not...the filter needs to be trained. If you know a file's good, just mark it as 'not junk'
If you think you're seeing too many files marked as junk, try setting your junk filter a bit more relaxed. Read through the thread below, it's got some good info about the junk filter.
