Try the recommended version of BearShare as suggested.

It looks like you might have some spyware. Better get [Spybot Search and Destroy]
and [Ad-Aware] and scan your system with both to be sure.

If BearShare 5.1.0b25 still crashes, uninstall Panda completely and replace it
with AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition, which is far more stable under a heavy workload.
