Try renaming them with LW shut down completely. Go to the LW library page and click the folder with your files in it, then click the explore button. The folder should open up in windows(outside of LW). Make sure LW is shut down completely and not running in your taskbar. Now right click the file and click rename. Just be sure not to change the file extension. Hope this works
