Fast Track purposely deactivated the Morpheus clients. They wrote the core protocol code so they had a bit of an advantage that wouldn't be afforded to others. Due to the wide variety of gnutella clients, I don't think the same strategy would work with gnutella. You'd have better luck writing a client that appeared to work correctly, had lots of really nice features, and flooded the network with a ton of unnecessary traffic. Since the people trying to do this for real haven't managed to accomplish either of the first two, I wouldn't worry about it. |
