Answer is to delete LW prefs or make a note of all settings & revert all settings to default. But be sure to change all other settings back to how they were.
A corruption is due to the original hash downloaded not agreeing with the recheck of the hash. It can be due to something as basic the person changing the id3 or description tag since you started downloading the file, or else, as serious as missing bits & bites (needs to redownload those parts), or the file itself at its source is itself corrupted.
