I may be taking this comment out of context, and if I am, please forgive me. I take offense to this comment. It is understood that it is cheaper for Europeans to get broadband modems, but on this side of the pond, broadband is anywhere from $40 to $60 in my area, compared to dial up which is $10 to $25. The majority of us would be more than happy to get DSL or cable, but my dad's a contractor and we're unable to afford the luxury of the broadband modem. You choose broadband because it's cheaper for you than dial up, we're on a dial up modem because broadband is outside of our budget.
