BT are known to throttle p2p speed...do speeds pick up if you download outside of peak hours? The article below will tell you BT's peak times & there's also some info about their bandwidth management.

There are a couple of things you could try but to be honest, it's probably not going to make much difference...you could try changing ports (in LW tools > options > advanced > firewall config, change listening port to 64049 or something in the range of 49152 - 65535 > Apply > ok).
Do you see the firewall icon (brick wall in front of the blue globe)? If so, you could also try port forwarding for your Home Hub. The instructions are here.

LW's listening port, port in the 'manual port forward' box & port forwarded within the Home Hub all have to be the same number
