I've had both LimeWire and FrostWire installed on my MacBook. On my PC I have LimeWire installed.
On the PC, LimeWire works from time to time.
On the MacBook I used LimeWire until one day it detected some non-existing firewall (I don't have the firewall activated on the Mac). At that point I downloaded FrostWire which worked flawlessly until I installed the most recent iTunes, AirPort and Security updates for OS X. Then it, too, decided to tell me I had a firewall. So I downloaded LimeWire once more. The weird thing is, althought it says I have a firewall activated, the status bars are full (in LimeWire) and turbo-charged (in FrostWire).
If I search, I get results, but it won't connect to hosts nor download
I don't get what's wrong... I have a D-Link router, by the way.
