First, really, I want to thank you again for giving me your advise on this. Ok, here we go. I'm running vista ulitmate (if that make any difference?) Tonight when I get off work, I'll change the skin to the metal skin. (I have the black skin on right now.) I'll check tonight also if I have the latest addition of Java. I'm pretty sure I do, because I have update alerts set up, so I'm always updating. I'm not sure what you mean by "deleting your preference folder" and also "changing Limewire's compatibility mode." Can you explain that, and I'll try that tonight too. Previously I posted I had contacted dell. They took over my computer remotely, and installed drivers, but it didn't help. Eventually the Dell rep told me I should set a restore point on my computer basicly back to factory settings. I told the rep I didn't want to do that, because I'd lose all my files, and work on my computer. That is when I decided to post this. I noticed it only happens when I start Limewire. My resolution is fine all other times, but as soon as I press my desktop shortcut for limewire, the resolution jumps to low, and everything gets magnified. Hope all this helps.
