well...a firewall is a necessary component of online activities...studies show that on average a computer without a firewall lasts less than 20 minutes before another person (read hacker) takes control of the machine...simply put a firewall is a virtual wall that restricts communications to those approved by the user...it also contains definitions of current exploits so that it can block them...

I'm not informed about McAffe products but it does sound like at best your software is operating at restricted capabilities...if it is a warez product (i.e. downloaded/stolen software) and has been detected as such then its probably not working at all...

so it is possible that you have been hacked and said files placed in your queue...
