Yes you can "download" any mp3 file with gnutella (just like napster) plus any other type file(mpeg,avi,txt etc...)which gives you more flexability and choice of media to download and trade. I say trade because that is what p2p is all about,not just snaching and grabbing what you can from others files and not sharing(the good files at least) with the rest of us. Anyhoo, you are on a PC so your choices of a client(p2p freeware) is humongus. I personally use a Mac with the Furi client. I have to say of the three I tested Furi worked best (in my opinion) so I have stuck with it so far. There is a Furi client for PC but the PC guys seem to like Bearshare or Limewire. So download a client and start trading. There is a learning curve to this stuff so dont get discouraged if all doesn't go well right away. Once you've got the basics try another client and compare performance and functionality(thats always fun) Oh, and I still have Napster and use it often so don't give up on it yet its still there with plenty of files to trade too.
