Default
tools option is for windows or OS 9. For OSX it's in your preferences, under the LW name at top of menu bar next to apple icon. (Keyboard shortcut = ⌘ ,)

Try deleting your LW prefs folder whilst LW is closed, found here:
/Users/your_username/Library/Preferences/LimeWire
