good Ultrapeer is doing more or less nothing except being a good Ultrapeer...
The system is very much dependent on Ultrapeers NOT actually participating in sharing !
That may seem more than a bit contrary to many people but, it's the way it really is !
Any bandwidth that an Ultrapeer
uses for personal sharing activity diminishes the total available bandwidth for Ultrapeer processes and
responsibilities.
For me... When I see an host as Ultrapeer sharing anything more than about 1-200 MB, I blow 'em out.
I want high performance Ultrapeers !!!
Now the arguing can start.......................
