There is such a thing as the
Gnutella Network.
So-called G2 is a Mike Stokes & Co. thing.
For the rest... Only comment I will make for now is that if you are using Avast (hopefully the 'Pro' version) you should
definitely not be running Zonealarm. (ZA should not even be installed on your machine.) Avast is certainly superior to ZA.
Of course, for a serious fix to your p2p probs you can always try...
