I had not used Limewire for several years (or anyother music download service) until a few days ago. However, shortly therafter my wife informed me that our brower would not allow access to the internet. (Cable connection) So, I contacted our provider & they immediately sent a tech. to our home. He checked out all of their cable connections etc. & there was no problems there; even after I logged on w/laptop via wireless router. By the way i'm sending this email via my wireless hook-up!
Next I loaded my desktop & took it to the computer store where I purchsed it...no problems there when he connected to the internet via my usual browser. So the problem must be cable... grrrr
Early this morning i called suddenlink support (out of state) they did diagnostic tests looked at my computer from inside... long story short... call Microsoft 1 800 number... which i did & they ended up saying i should contact Limewire, because of some internat issue not allowing my Explorer Internet Browser to load properly.
Please, help me. I really don't know where else to turn...
Limewire still gives me access to download music & as far as i can tell there are no virsuses from the download but there is an issue with accessing my internet browser..
