I am using Windows XP--my firewall is Windows Firewall, which I have turned off to get LW working and nothing has happened, and then turned back on. I have done "the test" and it says the test has worked. I have gone into the control panel to the security system and unchecked the exceptions for LW and rechecked them, still nothing. I have 2.66 GHz of Ram, not sure exactly how much hard disk is available, but know there is plenty as I have had LW working for me to download just two days ago. This is my own personal computer and I have dial-up. I am running LW 4.14.10 and Java Standard Edition 6. MY ISP is Telus. I see a brick wall in fron of the blue icon on LW. At times, when I try to connect to LW, the interface will come up, other times it does not. I am using Spyware Detector and have checked that also for firewalls--nothing.I live in Canada.
