Normally, you can just right click on a file within iTunes > delete. What happens when you try to delete a file?

Or, are you talking about the shared 'LimeWire Tunes' playlist that shows up in iTunes?? If you want to get rid of that, in LW tools > options > iTunes > untick 'share my music' > apply > ok.
Now that playlist won't show in iTunes.
