Had same problem here, i even though that had done something bad when i updated my windows vista software,but my problem was the stupid firewall status that was not working propertly with inbound and outbound,so i took care of it and now i have the world icon,instead the firewall icon on my limewire with all the green bars,if you want to check and try to fix the way i did,i did a forum here,search for my id and follow my instruction.
