First a big Hi from a Newbie. I have tried the Search facility, but couldn't locate anything that suited my needs or if they did, I probably didn't understand them.

OK, over the last couple of days I have been downloading a few audio (music) tracks from Limewire and when I tried to play them, I got this message: -

Limewire cannot play the file C:\etc\etc\shared\song-title.mp3. There is an unknown error with the audio file.

Now # column was showing 30 on the last song I downloaded and I received it from at least 3 to 4 hosts. The other thing that has raised my suspicion is the fact that this only started happening yesterday (not on all music downloads), but when I started to download the song I wanted, Limewire told me that I had already downloaded this track and did I want to overwrite it.

The suspicious thing is that the new song title I wished to download is completely different from the previous song that Limewire is requesting me to overwrite and one that when I tried to play it, showed the same error message.

Am I being spammed? The file size and source seems to be in order, but I would like to check what the problem might be.
