Darn! I had hoped the easy fix would work.

Would you check if any updates are needed by running Apple Menu->Software Update?

If all is up to date . . . try to reinstall your Java Apple - Support - Downloads - Java for Mac OS X 10.3 Update 5

If that doesn't work, then more info will be needed
