hmm.. re-engineering would just be deleting a code line?
but if you would connect to more people at once wouldn't you:
-take less time to finish your download, so more people can connect to the file again
-remove strain from uploaders(if you would have one host, which uploads to you @30 kbits/s, over lets say.. 30 hosts which all upload at 10 kbits/s, you download faster and put less strain on your hosts.
so why is it selfish to connect to more hosts? Correct me if i'm wrong but I think it is the opposite of selfish.
