Limewire 2.3 is nearing perfection & is awesome. I can connect to 1500+ hosts with almost NO bandwidth consumption at all (except when sharing files
) I can find anything. Never could do that with Gnucleus/old limewire versions.
The only few things left bugging me that would make this program GOD are:
1. The tabs never stay open on launch, I like having the connections and seeing what files peeps are uploading.
2. The connections never stay put. I personally like to have 6 Ultrapeers, but it always defaults to 3 (tho I can have 10 and still be using only 2k/sec to keep em alive).
3. Maybe that little Green/Red ball could have a "yellow" for when there are less that 500 hosts connected (maybe 250 for a modem)
4. Not too important, but maybe have a "remind me later" checkbox for the limewire pro dialog on startup. I won't be buying anytime soon (at least not until I can get a credit card
)
Other than that, AWESOME program, I have a few P2P's, but this one is the best.
