Are you seeing a brick wall icon at bottom of LW's interface? Chances are your router needs port forwarding.

When I first uses a router, my uploads dropped dramatically. It took a while to realise my router was semi-blocking uploaders. Only the odd one who forced their way thru was able to upload from me. Once I port forwarded, I had people uploading as soon as LW opened.
