try setting defaults in VISTA. start>default>set your default programs..i use wmp 11.hope this helps. PS google (bleeping computer) they have lots of good info on helping with vista.good luck  also AVS Video Tools, Video Converter, Audio Tools, Video Editor, DVD Player, DVD Copy, TV Box. free dvd player
