Just to confirm...
When you say, "direct connect", are you referring
only to you using Limewire or is it in re: to one of the various Direct Connect programs ?
Have you recently updated or fresh installed a new version of Limewire ?
Is your 'old' computer running XP Home or Professional, or maybe 2000 Pro ?
If the answer is XP Home, that may be part of the problem.
