No way did a legit copy of Cole2k Codecs Pack Standard cause anything that could possibly result in a BSOD.
When did the BSOD occur ?
After installing ?
At first boot after install ?
Did you SHUTDOWN... NOT Restart in this case ?
Do you use any so-called hibernate functions on your machine ?
The cole2k uninstall is one of the cleanest I have ever seen... On a par with Adaware and Nero as far as registry and folders are concerned.
Not meaning to be offensive here, honest, but if you do not know how to remove something as simple and safe and clean as Cole2k, how are you managing with everything else ?
Cole2k works perfectly with all recent versions of WMP... v8 -10 for certain !
What else could possibly be causing you problems and WHAT was the BSOD message other than the usual junk ? |
