Getting a decent cleaner program is not a bad idea.

In the latter days of Kazaa it did. It was spammed with junk in an attempt to prevent people sharing copyright files in the same way other networks such as Gnutella have been attacked by such organisations;
Beware of Fake files in search results, as well as porn organisations attempting to protect their products, spamming samples of their works, generally in .mov format.
