Let's start from the top: System details - help us to help you (click on blue link)

Do you see 3 green bars at bottom left of the program window? If they are all red or only one green then it means you are not connected to the Gnutella network yet.

Sharing zero files means you're sharing zero files. To share files, go to menu bar click on the LW icon (next to apple icon far left top corner) select Preferences, then click on Sharing tab, then click Browse button to choose a folder where you have files you wish to share.

Personally I share folders from multiple loctations. eg: some of my iTunes music folders, pictures folder, etc.
