Oh .. one thought that's crossed my mind is .. you still have LW Basic on your computer. And the alias (shortcut) or LW in Dock is actually the Basic version & not Pro. Search your computer to see how many versions of LW you have on your system. Select applications at search type. (Command F ie: ⌘ F )

If Basic is still on the system, then drag & drop it to the trash.
