If your LW's opening up all the time & won't stay closed, you're probably infected. Have a look at these threads:

AVG AV used to fix the problem for lots of people. There was recently a problem with AVG where one of the updates ended up removing a windows file... as far as I know that problem's been fixed now, so if you want to try AVG Free there are links in the above threads. Make sure to update before scanning
If you don't want to use AVG Free, try Avira AntiVir (also free). Here's a link for download. Again, make sure to update before scanning: Avira AntiVir Personal

One person in the above links said that Spybot (free) fixed the problem for them, here's a link for that (update before scanning): Spybot S & D

Please make sure that you're using a good, updated AV & use it to scan all files that you download - before you open them
